Job Opportunity: Communications Specialist

The Alaska Coastal Rainforest Center (ACRC) is seeking a full-time Communications Specialist to guide and support their efforts in developing and implementing communication strategies about their projects and partnerships across Alaska.  The specific duties assigned to the Communications Specialist position will be shared between ACRC and the Alaska Climate Adaptation Science Center (CASC). 

ACRC is looking for an individual with a wide range of skills and interests; someone who comfortably wears many hats in an organization; and welcomes new challenges that present opportunities to develop new proficiencies. The Communications Specialist will report to the ACRC Director, but will receive direction from other senior staff and faculty at both UAS and UAF.

The Alaska Coastal Rainforest Center Communications Specialist position is a full-time, twelve month, USGS grant funded staff position.  All offers include both a competitive salary and complete UA employee benefits package.  This recruitment will be open until filled with the initial applicant review date on December 5th, 2016.
